Terrill Anthony Griffith, 71, Fleetwood, PA, passed away on April 27, 2022. Born November 10, 1950, he was the son of Robert Donald Griffith and Janet Elizabeth Dunmore. Terry was the loving husband of Karen Dean Palcho.
Terry was a broad-based educator of people of many ages and backgrounds. Most recently, he taught at Northwest Middle School in Reading, PA.
From a young age, Terry worked actively for peace and social justice. A world traveler, he connected deeply with people all over the world, especially in Guatemala.
Terry is famous for playing accordion and keyboards, animated conversation, pizza making, and passionate pursuit of knowledge in art, music, politics and world history.
Terry was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer on 2/14/22 and died in peace, surrounded by family and friends, on 4/27/22. As he got closer to death he said that certain things provided “natural pain relief”- visits with friends, playing music, listening to the Phillies, or discussing news.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is his brother: Robert Clark Griffith and wife Debbie, nieces Melissa Abigail and Emily Elizabeth Griffith, and many dear friends.
