Stanley John Lienti, 79 formerly of Shillington, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18 in his Myerstown residence.
Stanley was the husband of the late Mary (Roland) Lienti who passed on March 10, 2014. He was the son of the late John & Carrie (Guistwite) Lienti. Born September 5, 1941 in Reading, Stanley was a 1959 graduate of Reading High School & a 1962 graduate of the Industrial Management Institute with a degree in Electronics. Stanley was employed 40 years as an Electronics Technician for Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies & Agere, retiring in 2002.
Stanley enjoyed trap shooting, playing poker, casinos, cooking, yard sales, going out for lunch & dinner with family & friends & spending holidays with his adopted family, the Carls.
He was a life member of Mohnton Fish & Game, where he was a former treasurer. He also was a member of the Myerstown Rod & Gun Club, Lebanon Valley Sportsmen Association, Adamstown Gun Club, Northkill Rod & Gun Club, West Lawn Quoiting Association & Sinking Spring VFW.
Stanley is survived by his two sons, Robert, husband of Theresa (Carl), Wernersville, Joseph, husband of Alana (Athens), Shillington & two grandsons, Joseph Jr & Nicholas. Also surviving is his sister, Fay Redlon wife of Mark, Jacksonville Beach, FL & various nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Harry.

Also, heartfelt thanks to Rebecca & Miriam Smoker for providing Stanley six years of companionship after Mary’s passing. “You meant so much to Dad after Mom’s passing. Words cannot express our gratitude for you being a part of his life.“

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 23rd at 1:00 pm in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA. Services will be live streamed.
