Minnie (Cunnius) Garman

Minnie Mae (Cunnius) Garman, 89, formerly of Colebrookdale Township, died May 12, 2021 at Berks Heim, Bern Township.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Derr Eshbach in 1985, and by her second husband, Luther Garman in 2020.

Born, May 13, 1931, in Rockland Township, she was a daughter of the late Albert Wilson and Laura Deborah Moyer (Kline) Cunnius.

Minnie’s passion was painting.  She was also very involved with Girl Scouts and Boyertown Historical Society.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her four children: Bruce, husband of Patricia A. (Meitzler) Eshbach of Boyertown; Lynda S. (Eshbach), wife of Thomas Burkey of Myrtle Beach, SC; Faye E. (Eschbach), wife of Larry Avans of Cougar, AL; and Carol A. (Eshbach), wife of Brian O’Neal of Colebrookdale Township.

Other survivors include her ten grandchildren: Jason, Melissa, Jeff, Jennifer, Scotty, Todd, Troy, Chris, Nathan, and Joseph; 22 great grandchildren; and a number of great-great grandchildren.

Also surviving is her brother, LeRoy K., husband of Louise Cunnius of Sinking Spring.

Minnie was preceded in death by six siblings: Laura K. (Cunnius) Moyer, Erma K. (Cunnius) Moyer, Albert K. Cunnius, John K. Cunnius, Isaac K. Cunnius and Charles P. Cunnius.

Graveside services will be held privately at Hill Church Cemetery, Pike Township.
