December 21, 1943 ~ May 16, 2021 (age 77)

Obituary

Kenneth R. "Kenny" Field passed peacefully at home in Oley, PA on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the age of 77.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynn Field (Adams), their son Brendon, husband of Celine (DeBruyne) and granddaughters Claudia and Samantha of whom he was incredibly proud.  He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Gary Adams, niece Heather and nephew Luke. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mildred (Lutz) Field.

He was born in 1943 in Reading, PA. Kenny graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1961, served in the United States Air Force, and later became a Master Electrician. Kenny began working for Medlar Electric and was ultimately the owner of MBR Construction Services, guiding the company for more than 35 years.  He also founded Atlantic Energy Concepts.

He and Lynn married in 1969, the start of a life full of love, happiness, and adventures.

Kenny was a fun-loving and easygoing guy who relished traveling, embarking on trips around the world with his wife and family, making friends at every turn. He always enjoyed a good laugh and loved the characters in his life’s story both genuinely and selflessly.  He filled every room with his infectious smile, hearty laugh, and antics that generated a lifetime of stories for all of us to remember and cherish.

We take solace knowing Kenny has surely found some of his best friends waiting for him to join in the next happy hour.  We raise our glass for one final toast in celebration of the man, husband, father, friend, and mentor that we were so fortunate to have touch our lives.

A celebration of life will be held at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
