Jennie Virginia Folk, 92, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2021. She was the widow of Edward Lloyd Folk, Jr., who passed away in 2009.
Born on October 28, 1928, Jennie was the daughter of Lester Mulutzie and Eva (Zanuck) Mulutzie.
After high school, she worked as a waitress around Berks County for many restaurants and catering companies.
Jennie enjoyed going to church, visiting casinos, and cleaning her house while listening to polka music.
She is survived by her children: Ted Lash, husband of Loraine, of Reading and Karen (Lash), wife of the late Timothy Kunkelman, of Reading. Jennie is also survived by her grandchildren: Eric Lash, husband of Melissa, of Temple and Janet Watson, partner of Joe Rupert, of Leesport. She leaves behind her great grandchildren: Kayla Lash, fiancé of Andy Einsel, Brandon Lash, Carrie Lash, and Autumn Watson. Also surviving is her great great granddaughter, McKinlee. Jennie was preceded in death by twelve siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 19th, at 11AM at Stitzel Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Friends and family will be received from 10-11AM. Burial will take place at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
