Randolph Gilbert Henne, 65, of Muhlenberg Township, left this world to meet his Saviour Jesus Christ on January 26, 2018 at Penn State – Hershey Medical Center.
He was the loving husband of Brenda Ann (Miller) Henne, to whom he was married June 16, 1984.
Born August 28, 1952 in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Gilbert Jacob and Jeanette Louise (Knapp) Henne.
Randy was a 1970 graduate of Hamburg High School.
He served in the U.S. Army for six years during the Vietnam War.
Randy was employed as a carpenter for 21 years with Samuel Perroto and subsequently, worked as a machinist for 12 years at Materion Performance Alloys, Shoemakersville, retiring on December 29, 2017.
He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Mohnton.
Randy loved golfing and was a member of Perry Gun Club.
He was a dedicated family man who loved his wife, Brenda, of 34 years, and his three children and granddaughter, Elliana with all he had. He lived a life of service and Randy will be missed by all those who knew him.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his three children: Randolph G. Henne, Jr. of Muhlenberg Township; Danielle J. Henne, fiancée of Brett Mertz, and his son, Elias N. Mertz of Muhlenberg Township; and Jonathan C., husband of Kate L. Henne and their daughter, Elliana Lynn Henne of Cumru Township.
Also surviving are his three siblings: Carol Torres and Colleen Henne, both of Shartlesville and Christopher, husband of Lori Henne of Auburn, Schuylkill County.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Evansville Road & Rt. 222, Fleetwood (Maidencreek Township).
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church, 622 Old Lancaster Pike, Reading, PA 19607. A visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m.
