William Henry Glutz, 84, of Oley, died February 1, 2018 at Penn State Health – St. Joseph, Bern Township.
He was the husband of Geraldine (Gehret) Glutz, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.
Born July 29, 1933 in Reading, he was a son of the late Andrew and Mary D. (Malecki) Glutz.
Bill was employed for 40 years in dairy processing, having worked for Pure Goat Products and Bechtel Dairies. He retired in 1995.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, with the 101st Airborne.
Also surviving are his two daughters: Christine M., wife of Eugene W. Langdon of Oley and Sharon, wife of Steven Suruskie of Sinking Spring.
Other survivors include his two sisters, Patricia, wife of Patrick McBride of Pottstown and Marilyn, wife of Stanley Wlazewski of Exeter Township.
There are also four grandchildren: Bradlee E. Langdon, Daphne N. Langdon, Heather Green and Tyler Suruskie and two great grandchildren.
Bill was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Glutz, who died in 1969.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A visitation will be held from 10 -10:30 a.m.
