Juanita (Sutter) Lorah, 81, of Amity Township and formerly of Exeter Township, died January 18, 2018 at Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born August 26, 1936 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Anna H. (Hinnershitz) Sutter.
Juanita was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School.
She was employed as a secretary with Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies for over 20 years.
An avid bowler, Juanita traveled around bowling, but her favorite place to bowl was at the Oley Fire Company. She also enjoyed walking and in her younger years was an accomplished swimmer and marimba player.
Surviving are her three children: Terry A., husband of Debra S. Lorah of Reading; Barry S., husband of Cindy J. Lorah of Centre Township and Shelley L. Lorah of London, England.
Other survivors include her brother, Leonard B. Sutter of Exeter Township; her five grandchildren: Dr. Abigail E. Lorah, wife of Dr. Andrew Ambort; Rebecca M. Lorah; Christopher S. Lorah; Laura K. McLaine; and Eric J. McLaine.
Juanita was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Sutter.
The William Eich family will receive family and friends Thursday, February 8th from 6-7 p.m., with a service beginning at 7 p.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley.
The Lorah/Sutter family will receive family and friends Friday, February 9th from 10-11 a.m. with a service beginning at 11 a.m. at 423 Main Street, Oley. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township.
