Jeanne` Elaine Ripple

Jeanne Elaine Ripple, 86, of Muhlenberg Township, died November 23, 2017 at Berks Heim, Bern Township.

 

She was the wife of Milton Adam Ripple, to whom she was married April 11, 1953.

 

Born October 9, 1931 in Stonersville, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin R. and Hanna K. (Gudikunst) Trenaman.

 

Jeanne was a 1949 graduate of Reading High School and was the class historian.  She was also a graduate of Reading Business Institute.

 

She was employed as an accountant with Lindgren and Manske Chrysler Plymouth for 21 years, retiring in 1970.

 

Jeanne was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Reading.

 

She was a member and on the board of directors of Friends of the Reading Hospital for many years.

 

Jeanne was also a member of the A.A.S.R. Scottish Rite Auxiliary.

 

She was also a member of the Reading High Alumni.

 

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are many nieces and nephews.

 

Jeanne was predeceased by her sister, June Trenaman.

 

Services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
